Pictured above are three young sheep. Two pre-teen Dorpers and one teen Merino. This Merino was in our infirmary and had gotten used to receiving tasty treats (nutritional supplementation to assist with recovery). The two Dorpers were both hand-reared and came to look for their treats – milk! In this case, curiosity earned them some head scratches and a photo-op.
Our sheep roam free eating fragrant shrubs that give them the distinct Karoo Lamb flavour. Geographically we qualify to produce under the label of Karoo Lamb of Origin but we have not as yet registered as producers traders.
