Bushman Grass, or Boesman Gras, is a much anticipated and much appreciated part of the Karoo Flora.
The Bushman Grass / Boesman Gras is always a welcome sight to see. From afar, the golden shimmer is enough to attract and entice even the human eye! This grass is highly resistant to drought and extremely responsive to rain. Judging by the sheep’s fondness, this grass is also incredibly tasty!
Our sheep roam free eating fragrant shrubs that give them the distinct Lamb of the Sutherland Karoo area, flavour. Geographically we qualify to produce under the label of Lamb of the Sutherland Karoo area, of Origin but we have not as yet registered as producers traders.
